Exchange Accepting Appointment on Behalf of

Featured Replies

Got an issue in work were 2 users have attempted to share their calendars (none techy users) Since doing so when user a receieves and appointment from anyone user B gets a appointment asking to accept of behailf of.

Now I've removed Grant permission to Send on behalf of from the AD and also removed permission fro user b from the calendar within outlook.

I'm

Sounds like they messed up setting delegation. I don't know if this is something within the client, or something that can be done from the server, though...

Easy,

Tools > options > delegates. Highlight user and then set permissions. You may spot that "delegate recieves copy of meeting related requests" option is set, the default is ticked and they need to untick it.

It's a setting the user will have ticked. On their copy of Outlook goto Tools/Options/Delegates tab.

Select the person they have entered on the list and hit the Permissions button. You should see below the level of access they have granted to the Calendar that the option is ticked saying, 'Delegate receives copies of meeting-related messages sent to me'.

That should sort it

I've attached a screenshot should show the options I'm talking about.
