Legarde and Brundle should be a great combo, they are my ideal pair. When it was leaked a few months ago that DC was joining the Beeb I was worried he was going to commentate.

She was good at her job. Perhaps not the most gifted of interviewers, but she had the credentials to get the pit lane interviews. I am very sceptical about this new woman, look like she wants to be the new Suzy Perry.

I know nothing about Lee other than what I've read hear, but a "new Suzy Perry", as long as she delivers on knowledgability and ability to get access and worthwhile interviews more or less anywhere, anytime, seems like an entirely laudible ambition to me.

Yes Suzy is good looking, but I respect her for her knowledge etc, not her looks.

I think any woman who does ‘alluring’ poses on the front page of her web site has already lost the credibility battle in my eyes. Imagine Jason Plato in swimming trunks or several pictures of him looking moody under studio lighting…..oh hang on a minute, I can:)

BBC Sport blew a huge chunk of it’s budget to get F1 back (too much as it turned out, as ITV weren’t that bothered about retaining it…Bernie convinced them they could have it back for a good price), So I think you can guarantee either BBC1 and BBC2 coverage. I have been told that the Beeb want to use the Chain again (although some of the young thrusters don’t like it) and as they have sort of got Murray on board, they would be silly not to open with it. Imagine that music with Murray’s voice over, sheer magic-at least till the processional racing starts.

Only kidding, I have high hopes for racing this next season.

Ah you are probably too young to remember it. We had it in the 70s and 80s (and the years before those of course)
