gear leaver rattle

Featured Replies

On my Furby the engine tick over rattle is much noisier if your hand is not on the gear knob or it is in gear is this normal?

No, it's not normal. Mine's the same and the dealer is fixing it later today.

I did notice that it quietened down after a few days though - as if the linkage was shifting around slightly. Hmm.

mine did this too when it was still very tight, doesn't anymore. But if your worried then get it looked at by your dealer

this is happening to my new furby vrs, its a week old and very annoying, did anyone find a solution to this problem as my dealer has another one which they can't solve so i'm just waiting in the wings untill they fix the first one and then hopefully mine too

i had this on the demonstrator i had it had 1100 on the clock sales bloke said its never done that before lol

Mine rattled at first, but after a couple of months, sorted itself out. Engine is very smooth (for a diesel  ) and no stick rattle whatsoever.

my new car (110 miles on the clock) does this I noticed it this morning, I'm going to wait till its lossened up and see if it stops
