Well - I'm keeping account of what I have paid and what I am paying for parts/labour and other bits such as 6 months road tax, and I stand to make sod-all profit.

C'est la vie. I have really enjoyed taking this poor abused car and laying some (metaphorical) love on it.

that looks trick, i'd love one in candy white, whats the finished spec going to be, and any idea on price?

You know it'd be pinched within an hour. I'll leave Lissy for u tho dont worry :D

Have u got a piccy of it from the front Jase?

i'd take the vRS badge off Jas, without it its simply a kitted PD100 yet fitted your making it look like its something that it isn't and also there could be insurance implications by having that badge on it.

At least i know what mine will look like when its finished!

Top buy for someone that.

Ive lost count of what mine will cost but what the hell!

I'm still looking for the wheel nut covers Jase ....(haven't forgotten) they are somewhere in the conservatory

Don't worry too much. I think the seller of the alloy wheels is sending me lockers + covers.

would you get more for it if it was as standard?

Doubt it, but I will be offering a lower price to come with 14" steel wheels & trims. :)

Cant wait to see this when its finished might be interested dude !

Looking good Jason. Nice and different.

What mileage is on it ?

What mileage is on it ?

Currently 16,700 - but I fixed the gearbox sender myself and the previous owner ran it with a broken one for about 2 years  So, actual mileage is going to be 40k based on his own mileage of about 15k a year. MOT's + service bills etc back the mileage up to the point it broke, and then there's 2 mot's with 16,518 on it

Thanks Jason.

I'll PM you soon. ;)

do you have any photos of it from the front?

Liking it

Can't wait to turn my Elegance into a Graphite Grey 'VRS', reckon it'd look pretty good-but it'll have the go to match  not giving too much away yet

front bumper looks a bit rubbish, you should lob a vrs front bumper on it.

You make it sound like something I will find down my local B&Q. It would cost around £300 to get a vRS bumper on this car. £100 to get a bumper, £100 for the foglights and grilles, then £100 to paint. I will let the new owner decide if this is worth it, but I will just get the lower grilles for the skoda option GT bumper and leave it at that. :)

thing is, in that pic it looks like the bumper doesn't fit properly and is an off white compared to the rest of the car.

You've not read the main thread on this car have you, from when I first bought it. ;)

The front and rear bumpers were both removed, repaired and resprayed as part of my project. They'd been fitted "by a professional" under the ownership of the chap I bought it off. Was a right ****-up to be honest. It now matches with virgin candy white paint.

nope, just looked at the pic a few posts up, sorry!

i'm sure it will look tons better with the vrs alloys on.

Cheers Jase, was just double checking mine was the same as yours (it is) however... I have realised that I can fit the grilles off my standard bumper in behind the GT bit so I am gonna do that so the rad is protected and leave the main front bits like little air scoops lol. I quite like it with the holes in the front and it'll then have purple set just behind the GT front bit.

u know me to well hun, u only want to steal it, dont reckon it'd take an hour either, lol. i'll take lissy tho, wail of a charger over the rumble of a tuned tdi ant day ;)
