Brands is holding 20 min trackday introduction sessions every half an hour on sunday 21st the cost is only £25.00!!!!! see their website.

Ive done a fair few in my Westfield and can confirm that they are really fun and twenty minutes, probably about 15 laps, will be more than enough for a 'standard' road car.

I am using my standard 'except remapped' Vrs Mk1 as I am interested to see how it fairs tho im anticipating it to be a bit soft suspension wise.

Remember you wont be insured so you should weigh up the risk of damage to your car tho I have found most people to be sensible and have not seen any knocks.

Hmmm i think i'll give it a miss with my standard Fab VRS. I treat it much more as a point and squirt car to be honest, handling is probably my least favorite part of the car, especially coming from a Pug 106. I was in a hurry recently and pushed the car hard round the big roundabout near Hempstead Valley in Gillingham and the thing rolled and understeered like crazy. If you get a chance to drive on this track though then do so. I did it about 10 years ago in the single seaters at Brands and the BMW 318is thy were running at the time.

Did it on my 23rd birthday Not as good as driving a Nascar in Florida last year :P

sounds like good fun i asume it is onlu the indi circuit? 15 laps in 20mins:confused: in 20 mins i would expect to get at least 19:D i did a track day there an was 1:01min laps but it was a dry track:thumbup: how many people thinking of going?

I might ask a mate of mine, he's just finished building a Fiesta track day car, we took it to Bedford Autodrome the other week but he's itching to have a go on Brands and this sounds like it's too cheap to miss!
