The trip computer on my roomster scout 1.9 is giving some funny readings eg 60mpg town running , normally around the 30 mark and the trip miles will no longer zero using the reset Any ideas.

If the trip won't zero there's a fault. MPG on my 1.9 is between 6 and 8 per cent optimistic when compared with a carefully conducted fill-up trial. Funny thing is, the other maxi-dot readings are spot-on, so I suspect Skoda is indulging in a little chicanery.

Do you hold the reset button pressed for a couple of seconds?

Pressing the reset button for 2 seconds or so only resets the mpg figure but not the trip value. Looks like a visit to the dealer , although it is maybe not worth the hassle.

Which trip value are you trying to reset? The one in the trip computer or the one that you have to reset by pushing the the little stalk?
