Can't for the life of me....

Featured Replies

...find a good BMW forum like Briskoda, I've found some but most are dedicated to the older models it's like no one buys any new models lol.

So does anyone know a good BMW forum that's as friendly and informative as Briskoda is? Just I'm looking into getting a 2006 330D but seems no one buys them lol.

Cheers :-)

I've never found another forum for any marque as friendly and useful as Briskoda, which is why I'm still here (and have rejoined freedom) despite not having my Fabia any more.

:D I'd agree, but we're always going to think that the community we're part of and regular members of is the best around ;)

What BMW forums? have you got, sounds daft drop Tom vRS a pm I know that he has a BMW he might be able to help you Iain.

I've got to admit this is the most friendliest forum I have ever used.

The thing is with BMW is most ppl who buy them don't know what a spanner is, so they don't bother with forums and pay BMW to fix their car for them.

There is a some guff, but lot of knowledge too.

(Dons fireproof suite & prepares for incoming:eek::rofl:)

It's not their lack of technical knowledge that bothers me -it's their vinability r oread the car manual to find out where things like indicator switches and rear fog switches are ,and the meaning of lamps on the dash .Then there's the simple matter of Automotive stereo typing - they assume that Skoda drivers are two stepsfrom the grave .

Lastly there's their myopia with rules of the road and the Highway code .

Beautiful cars , pity the BMW couldn't design the owners as well as the product .

I haven't found any other forum on the Internet like this one. Everyone is very helpful - whether it is a Skoda or not! Post your query in the General Car Chat section - Im sure that someone will be able to help you. I have posted posts about my families car's on here - Hyundai Accent, Vauxhall Astra, and Ford Fiesta, and I have received many responses!

Cheers Briskoda

That's a good point. There's lots of knowledge here.

I also liked the claim that all BMW drivers apparently stereotype people based on what car they're driving...
