Thanks for the welcome guys - i did see that thread, that car is around 380 bhp, i asume you all realised that the wheel spin etc was more for the camera, they are not that undrivable !!! - http://forums.vptuning.com/viewtopic.php?t=4828

As for the Volvo it has been remaped, filter and dump valve and produces just over 300 bhp which amounts to a 14.9 1/4 mile at the moment - (http://www.chesh.co.uk/santapodvids.htm video v's 350z)

The M3 is pretty stock, it has an unknown chip and full stainless exhaust and is exactly as quick as a VRS Octavia - standard all the way to 150 mph !!!!

it has been tried and tested more than once !

Well the only company i would recomend for the job is http://www.volvotuninguk.com/volvotuning/frames.asp they sorted me out and it was certified and under warenty for 12 months -

There are 2 levels of upgrade both of which feature 420NM of torque but one is 280 bhp and the other 304 i think, the prices differ accordingly, speak to Hamish or Adam and say i mentioned it ;)

My next mod for the volvo is

Hello there, welcome to briskoda!

Which engine is it in the m3? Saw a lovely red m3 the other day on deals on wheels.

I can tell you are asking why ???? its a volvo

Remember where you are. We all drive Skodas :D I'm sure many ask a similar question when they stumble across our site.

Welcome to Briskoda and in my book the T5 has always been

Well the BMW has a S14 engine derived from the racing version, but detuned for road use and durability - it is a 2.3 twin cam 16 valve unit, and my model doesn't have a CAT so it is meant to be 200 bhp, i have had is rolling roaded at 193, but had major fueling issues which are now sorted so it should be around the 200 bhp mark at 7000 rpm.

As you can see the engine is a bit of a masterpiece with 4 throttle bodies coming out the side - this is atatched to a dog leg gearbox and 3:25-1 differential which is great for 5th gear pulling power, but a bit tiresome on a run -

That looks absolutely mint under the bonnet.

I'm guessing it's an early 90's example with it being an E30??

Well it' actually a 1987 D reg and has covered 171000 km = 106020 miles -

The car is quite tidy but need a small amount of cosmetic work to bring it back to scratch !

That's in pristine condition for a 17 year old car!

Volvo's nice aswell!

Thanks mate, i try - !

hi and welcome!

already replied to another of your threads, but better late than never. so, hello!

nice m3 btw, love the e30....

That m3 looks seriously hot, are there many places that tune them?

  • Author

You can get the M3 tuned, but you can't really achieve decent power figures as it is already highly tuned with a 280 degree cams, 4 throttle boddies etc - the bods offered are a gruppem induction system at
