As above - A friend has just bought a 1.6 Ambient Octy 1 with around 60k on the clock and the dealer has agreed to service it and change the cambelt. Is there an inspection window etc. in the cambelt cover through which he can check it has been done?

Ask for the old cambelt and the receipts for the parts

there are two clips on either side of the top outer cam belt cover.release the clips remove the cover admire new belt or not. replace cover, clip the clips and your done.you still wont know if he changed the tensioner or pump. so receipts please.
