Drivers Door Handle Mechanism

Featured Replies

Few weeks back when it was really really icy down our end i couldn't hardly get into the car.... creaking and ice cracking all over the car as i drove down the road.... you get the picture anyway.

Basically there was a large sounding metal ping, kind of like an elastic band but with what sounded like metal cable, presumably the door mech.

Ever since the drives door handle sticks a little when its moving back toward the car door as if it is out of line. Central locking and the rest of the works are functioning normally its just this one handle that seems a little iffy.....Is it easy enough to get at that's the question! Has anyone had a similar issue at any point?

Sounds like a weak return spring, should be able to buy it as a spare...
