Pretty sure Ian mentioned it Rob but you need a splined tool to undo the fittings, not a torx.

Yep ...Ian was kind enough to send the instructions on PDF and it has a list of tools on it

Did you get the other set that I sent you?

Yes, thanks Stu

Kevin has just told me he has found a set of car ramps, and he seems very keen to help put the ARB on (trouble is I'm allergic to minus figures where tempertature is concerned )

Ah from what Stu says the car needs to be off the springs weight wise.

Which could be fun on your drive Rob

8mm Hex key for the main brackets and 16mm spanner with 6mm Hex key for the drop arm connection.

They certainly haven't been Hex heads on any of the ones I've seen, most definately splined.

You're correct Stu, they are splined /star pattern (10 or 12mm Torx key?) but an 8mm Hex key fits perfectly!

Used last weekend as I was re greasing the bushes on mine.

Obviously not too much of a problem on yours as you regularly undo them but I've snapped one of my splined bits undoing one of these mounting brackets, it wasn't no lightweight tool either - thankfully a Halfrauds pro so instantly replaced.
