I have just received a tuning box off e bay from a German manufacturer called carpower ltd. The instructions are all in German except a basic set up description. There is a remote control for the box and it says to start the car , then turn the adjuster screw until the motor becomes "restless", then turn the screw back 2.5 turns to stop any engine code light.It then says that more power can be gained by turning the screw clockwise. Does anyone have one of these boxes (or similar) or know the basic setting?The box is called a VeBox. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to all

I bought one of these boxes for a tdi estate i had a while ago, all i did was plug it in, take the car down the road and keep stopping/going under the bonnet and turning the screw until it smoked a bit too much then turned it back quarter of a turn, best mod i ever bought!!

Update on the tuning box . I fitted it last night and on the way to work this morning ,pulled into a laybye and flicked the switch to turn the box on . I pulled away and BLOODY NORA !! what a difference . The roads were damp and the wheels span in the first two gears :eek:.Iwould never have believed there could be such a difference. After a 35 mile drive to work ,the mpg was showing 58.8 mpg (i know theyre miles out ) and it pulls like a train .Its only a 90 bhp ,but im well happy with it now . Does anyone know if you can switch it back to normal driving whilst on the move ,or should you stop, turn off the ignition , press the blip then restart? thanks in advance.
