And it was.............Two years of Octy Vrs ownership and some nugget, clearly not paying attention and driving too fast smacked into the back of her tonight while SWMBO was driving back from work....Oh joy of joys!

On the face of it there does not appear to be too much damage but i would have to say a minimum of a new rear bumper, plus SWMBO is complaining of back pain (complains all the time so nothing new there )

Joking aside though, through nuggets lack of concentration we now have to go through the crappy procedure of insurance, inspection and body shop etc.......... Just what you don't need at this time of the year and in this current economic climate.......:thumbdwn:

Make notes of every call etc - hopefully your insurer is better than mine, fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear about that - somone elses carelessness or stupidity causes so much hassle and aggravation.:(

Although there may appear to be minimal amount of damage, the back panel behind the rear bumper may be distorted, obviously an insection will reveal if this is the case, but it is certainly what happened to my Mk1 Estate and made the repair bill significantly more expensive that how the damage appeared!
