Heater flaps

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have this problem with the heater flaps. Is there anybody in the Dorset area that has the softwear to adjust the settings? The problem is when I switch to recirculating and then switch back and the motor opens the flap (which I can see if I open the bonnet and remove the filter) it goes so far then gets sort of semi stuck. It will free itself after I while or if I genty push the flap from under the bonnet it opens completely. It wants to open fully it just gets so far and then can't seem to make up its mind.

Cheers

Hi,

Yep no problem, although I won't be able to do anything till next weekend I am afriad, so that should give plenty of time to track down what needs to be done.

Cheers,

Matt

Any of you tech guys out there know if this can be done with I presume with the ross tech softwear and a laptop ?

Thanks

If you can see the flap pivots, how about using the straw to get a fix of Servisol into them? Then exercise the flap and motor by repeatedly switching in and out of recirc.
