Fabia Vrs wheels., for the 205 16 45 tyres.

Ive been trying ages to get just one single near perfect replacement wheel. But so far no really good ones have come to light.

I notice that lots of other appear to want wheels so wonder if the demand is great enough might be worth checking for best price now that the series 1 Fabia is no longer in production.

Must be lots hanging about. Unsold.

I would be interested in getting OE replacements wheels but perhaps most members have found that it's almost as cheap to buy alternatives. I'm sure most Fabia vRS owners are finding that the durability of their wheels is not particularly great and whilst I have one damaged wheel the other three are showing signs of corrosion. Whilst having them refurbed is a possibility to get them done properly is almost as expensive as buying replacements.

I would certainly be interested if the price was right, however like posted above mine have started corroding around the valve and it questions quality on a 4 year old car!

If your car is under three years old your friendly dealer will sort you out with a new set

Do you know why its a 3 year period when the warranty says 10 years paintwork and corrosion?

Yes, which is why you'll only get the wheels replaced if your car is under three years old

I'd be more interested in a group buy of aftermarket, standard size wheels. My standard ones are not exactly wonderful (the former owner has curbed them quite significantly), and they are also showing signs of corrosion. So replacements would be good, but I don't really want to change tire or wheel size. So far, I've nto seen many aftermarket wheels that would be a direct fit for the standard vRS wheels.
