where is the AV out ? is it on the back of the head unit or can it be accessed via theamp under the passenger seat ?

can this AV out be accessed to pipe a DVD signal to external screens ?

AV out or AUX out ? AUX out is in the armrest. Didn't know there was an AV out on the Columbus.

nope AUX in is in the armrest not AUX out !!

i am sure i have seen ref to AV out but I cant find it now. i am sure i didnt imagine it !

Columbus has RGB In and Out at the 14 pin connector on the back.

when i press the tone button there is an option on the screen that says "AV out".

when i press this option i have the choice of "off" or "DVD" . the dvd option is greyed out to presumably this has to be activated.

so I am guessing its theoretically possible to feed the DVD signal to some screens in the back ?

All it needs is the correct cable to be plugged into the back of the unit.

It's pretty expensive, though. I suspect that Kufatec probably doing something similar as well, but I couldn't find it when I had a brief look.
