Seat Sport Front Strut Brace Fitted

Featured Replies

Picked up my Seat Sport Front Strut Brace today & fitted it at lunch time :D

http://i445.photobucket.com/albums/qq179/dfullb/FrontStrut.jpg

Perfect fit with minimal trouble or fuss, Although i did have to remove the Plastic Cable carrier for the part of the wiring loom that goes to the coolant bottle & the Vacum controller to enable it to fit properly.

Well, Once on the car did feel different ( Not my imagination ) It was definately flatter in the corners & less vague ...

Total Cost £50.60

Now where do i get those Skoda MotorSport Stickers from to Cover that Nast Seat One !! ;)

Cheers

Are these things easy to fit?? I'm looking for a way to tighten up the furby's handling?

I can't speak for this one directly but I've fitted them to other cars before now and it's not been too much hassle. just a few nuts removed, place brace, re-attach nuts and bobs your uncle :)

Where did you get that from?!! I might be interested in purchasing one at that price!

Its 2 bolts on either side of the struts. You'll need to unbolt the ABS controller thingy. Put it back together and the Jobs a good un  lol

I might take mine off because lots of people have sheared the top mount bolts off trying to change the air filter

taking whole suspension out

Only will happen if you over tighten them mate

I also got my Motorsport sticker from thevinylstore.com. You have to peel the Seat one off first though... don't stick it over.
