Power Steering fluid spec

Featured Replies

I have been gradually replacing the "single use" hose clips with s/steel ones from Forge Motorsport.

Yesterday, while swapping over the clip on the hose going to the p/steering reservoir I

slipped and lost some fluid. Luckily no damage as id placed a old tee shirt under the hose etc.

Checking both my owners manual and Haynes, G 002 000 spec was suggested.

Phoning around today for a 1 Litre bottle to top up i got the following results :-

1/ Local Motorfactors........Comma CHF 11S (equivalent spec)

1 Litre bottle @ £14 incl vat

2/ Local Audi Main Dealer......G 004 000 M2 (superseeds G 002 000)

1 Litre bottle @ £6.83 incl vat

The silver bottle has the following logo's on it :- Audi, Seat, VW and SKODA !!!!
