I assume that you do not have "freedom" so it might be better to delete this posting and start a new thread in the Fabia forum - maybe also use the search function just in case the answer is already around!

You need to have the oil pressure checked by a garage. If your lucky, it will just be the oil pressure switch is faulty. If it's not the switch, it will be something in the engine.

I'd agree, and add that the switch usually plays up soon after an oil change or engine work, when a piece of carbon gets disturbed, and gets into the oil feed to the sensor.

Are you absolutely sure it's the oil light and not the temperature / coolant light? There are a lot of cars at the moment whose coolant level sensors are failing leading to a spurious warnings. It's an easy fix and discussed many times on here. The oil warning light looks like an old-fashioned oil can, and the temperature / coolant warning light looks like a thermometer sitting in water - you can check by following this link:

If it is the temperature / coolant warning light, and you have enough coolant in the car, you can reasonably ignore the warning until you get it fixed provided you keep an eye on the level in case of leaks. You're alright to do this, as if the light comes on the moment you start the car, and you know there's enough coolant in the expansion tank, there's no way the engine could be overheating as it won't even be warm yet!

Also, if it's the TCWL, you might find that running the engine for 15s, turning it right off and on again cancels the warning for the rest of the day (or several).
