Help with my brakes

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've had my from disks and pads changed by a local garage to get it through its MOT.

However now they make a realy loud rubbing noise above 5 mph from the front passenger side wheel. Above 30 the whole car is vibrating.

They have tried different pads and disks and the problem is still there. Is it just the pads need bedding in? I tried starting and stopping untill I felt physically sick (20 min, I'm prone to motion sickness) from 60 to almost a stop.

What could it be?

Any help gratefully received as I have to drive it 40 miles to and from work tomorrow:(

Don't risk it mate, take it to a dealer and get it sorted.

sounds a little like a seized caliper. I would take it back to the garage as Lummox stated

Either a siezed caliper or the disc out of alignment, causing excess runout.
