I've decided to swap my 51 Reg Octy RS with 36000 miles for a brand new Fab RS. Ive been offered

I reckon the Octy is worth around 9k - As for getting money off the fabia vRS... good luck. ;)

Push for another

Sounds similar to the responses i've been getting, everyone is refusing to budge on the Fabia VRS's right now

Article in The Daily Telegraph today about Johnny Vaughn and his Octavia vRS.

Article in Auto Express this week about the new Polo GT and how SEAT and Skoda offer a better package at a far lower price (lets face it they are all based on the Fabia floorpan!)

The dealers are milking it.........because they can.

Around 4 weeks ago when I was still choosing between the Octy and the Furby I got my local dealer down to

Local dealer couldn't touch the price I was quoted by tins.co.uk.

P.S. Howard, it wasn't Derek Slack was it?
