Chatsworth Rally Show 2009

Featured Replies

Yes, there was a similar format last year. A lot of Mk1 Escorts about in competition which was good :)

I've got the guide/brochure from last year; I'll try and scan in a few bits for people to see.

Nothing as of yet , but needs to be sorted soon , the chqs must be in by mid April other wise we wll lose out on the club stand :(

Anyone like to volunteer to collect the chqs in

We need to get things moving so I will stick my head out & volunteer to collect the cheques in:thumbup: It is a really excellent event to miss.

I did think for everyone to send the cheques to me, but made out to the event organiser, so I'm not handling any cash. The problem arises is if we get enough numbers to get the discount for the weekend passes, they will have a little bonus.

After thinking about it & talking to manager at work who has organised events for his hobby, the best option is send me a cheque made out to me for the full amount (no discount). If we do get sufficient numbers for the discounted weekend tickets, then I will refund any money on the event day to the people who it involves.

I know there has to be alot of trust in this, but I promise I will be truthful & honest:thumbup:

If you are happy with the plan above and are definitly wanting to go please PM to get my details to where to send the cheque, Also giving me the following information: What pass you will be needing ie weekend pass or a sat/sun pass & how many will be coming with you (17yrs old & over).

I will PM you back when the cheque arrives & again when it clears & I will make a note on this thread that you have paid.

If you can think of any other solution of sorting the money then feel free to let me know.

I will find out when the latest the money has to be paid to the event organiser & put a cut off to give enough time to get the money & information to the event organisers.

Prices again.

2-day passes (Adults 17 and over) up to & inc 10 cars @ £25

2-day passes (Adults 17 and over) 11 to & inc 30 cars @ £22

2-day passes (Adults 17 and over) 30 cars and over @ £19

Saturday Passes (Adults 17 and over) @ £15

Sunday Passes (Adults 17 and over) @ £20

Oz.

I'd be interested in this if you still have space for another car?

I'm possibly able to do the both days, but SWMBO & Sprog would only want to do one day! Still it's nearly on my doorstep so... let me know who needs what money & by when.

Cheers

Are going down on the Friday and staying Friday and Saturday. I had a look on their site ( see post 44) and its £36 for the two nights.

Hi all,

I have started a new main thread in the NW section with all the info & some new on the 1st post which I will edit that to show change in members attending/payments ect..Its better than trawling through this thread to read the more important info

Yes you might aswell Oggy , cheers .

JohnRS , have a look here . . . Greenhills Holiday Park - Offers and discounts

It says £8 a night , i will ring them tomorrow (tuesday) to get a price , let you know then , hopefully get something sorted with the campsite

The way things are at the minute i will be prob be going down on the Friday night & camping fri & sat night , unless there are loads of people wanting to set off at daft "o" clock Saturday morning , looking at a 2 & 1/2 hrs drive and need to be at Chatsworth for 08.00

What day you thinking of JohnRS ?

Thats what I thought, if you go to book along the top and put the 5th to 7th it comes back as £36, I am thinking going down late Friday afternoon (last check in is up to 22:30).

Just rang the campsite , £36 for 2 x nights without electric or £44 for 2 x nights with electric , the £8 a nite offer is for mid-week camping not weekends .

They have loads of space at the minute but she said they will start to get booked up fast due to the rally , so have to get booked this week me thinks to be on the safe side .

That's what I was thinking, if we are going on the Friday & its late the electricity might be a good idea if its guna be dark. What time do you reckon we should travel down.

According to my trusty Tomtom its 2.25 hrs to get there , so if we said set off for about 5ish and have a steady run down with a couple of stops for a drink / eat , still be a bit of daylight left to pop the tents up then too
