picnic stuff sounds good or camping stove, we have one of those, although will be limited on what i can bring as were away all week and i tried the suitcases and other stuff in the boot today and not much room left, but we could go to a supermarket on the saturday afternoon when we arrive in the area for sure.

will try and wash the car before we leave for our 225 miles trip north for this event - do i win the furthest distance prize?! hopefully that way the car wont be too dirty for the stand on sunday.

Aren't you stopping In Chesterfield? To get to the camp site from Chesterfield you will have to go past the gate we need to go into & drive quite far out.

We could just all meet up somewhere there quite a few stopping at greenhills but can go with whatever is decided

Cheers re the water. Will try and fit a few wash bits in the car if I can, if we need a quick 2BM and dry and QD. Is there a jet wash anywhere nearby that I can use to just rinse the car off?

Thats mad about the campaing stove. I would say risk it and keep it well surrounded an unobvious about its use, or is there such thing as an electric portable stove thing?! I have one of these http://www.millets.co.uk/camping/cooking/product/094502.html they have the flame well hidden etc - hardly as bad as a big open bbq!
