Beer bottle thrown at my car!

Featured Replies

We went to a free concert on Friday night at the Botanic Gardens in Wellington.

The car was parked on the road outside.

When we got back to the car I noticed a wet patch on the road behind it, then smelled beer!

I got my torch out and had a look around and it turns out someone had thrown a beer bottle from a moving car, at my car! Luckily they were a crap shot and missed:

Underneath the car was covered in shattered glass which took a while to find - there were some nasty chunks around my (new) back tyres. There's also a nick in the black plastic part of my back bumper where one of the chunks of glass hit it.

It was Steinlager Pure by the way :D

So I have two questions:

1: What sort of mindless idiot throws a glass bottle out of a moving car?

2: Why would you waste beer?

My car still has a scar on the bonnet from where someone threw a beer bottle at it out of a block of flats.

1: What sort of mindless idiot throws a glass bottle out of a moving car?

Answer : One who's totally r*t-*rsed

2: Why would you waste beer?

Answer : Because you are totally r*t-*rsed

Let's just hope the pr*ck who did it wasn't driving and on his mobile phone to his mates at the time

Seriously - I'm glad they missed

1: Some little ****ing scum chav.

2: Because he is a spotty oik who cant handle more than 2 pints so the only way he can get rid of it in front of his mates without looking like a shandy drinking wuss is to do something "Dead Hard" like throw it at an inaminate object. well done chav boy, who the man. *****.

:eek::eek::eek: oopps. Thought the "P" word at the end might of been blocked out. Sorry. :o:O:O

At least they missed your car thats something to be thankful for, I came out of work in the early hours of Friday morning last week to find some pi$$ed up people had either stumbled or had been fighting and landed on my bonnet, most of the dent has just popped out but it's left a nice 3inch crease following the ridge of the bonnet in the middle

It's because we share an island with a lot of scum. Have had door mirrors kicked off my Astra by scrotes on bikes, the Fabia has a scratch on a door where someone kicked it last week. I had a beer bottle thrown at me from a moving car whilst stood next to my car outside a West London Tube Station once. Scum cannot be rationalised.

Thay may not have deliberately thrown it at your car, it may have missed it's target, been dropped or thrown randomly.

I had the remains of a chicken curry thrown on my Sapphire Cosworth. No other car was touched just mine. If you didn't like the curry, put back in the bag and throw it in the bin. Not lob it as someones else car for a laugh!

Really... you're from New Zealand too

Some people are c***s - simple.

Maybe some drunk person was stumbling in the road and dropped their beer on the floor, or maybe I was correct above... Either way Steinlager, sounds drinkable enough ;)

I doubt it was aimed at your car Rob, just unfortnate it was parked where the bottle landed, I see this all the time, ppl don't want it anymore and as they have lost control they just chuck it without a thought.

seems its the whole bloody world is infected with this mindless moronic selfish blight.

i suppose if we live in a world where a man is killed for a bottle of wine , then chucking bottles is almost good behaviour, watched something on the news tonight , some club was doing all you can drink , for £6 , which poor sodding community will bear the brunt of that then.
