Some similar reasons to me. I looked at the new Octavia but it was even bigger than my present car. My daughter is going to university so a slightly smaller car made sense.My dealer also offered a better deal if I changed before the '54' plate. The other big reason for me was the performance /economy factor.

Ah, but can you fit all your daughter's 'stuff' in the Fabia for the ceremonial delivery/collection each term? Come to think of is I expect the Octavia would struggle as well!
