High mileage?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

My 1.9D Felicia has just clocked up 150,000 miles this morning (original engine and gearbox) and still not burning any oil. I have to say, I'm well pleased - it's a terrific wee car.

Is this typical of the sort of mileages these things will do?

it's funny you mention high mileage...

i know this is a little off topic but i just said to the swmbo that she had high mileage, and she said small aerial to me:O

and yes, the vw engine will do 250,000 miles plus if it's well maintained

Plenty of Felicias on the road with best part of 200k on the clocks. Just keep on top of normal maintenance and they just keep on going, especially these 1.9Ds, very old tech, but built to last.

The 1.3 is a strong little unit as well - they get pretty noisy but they sure are strong.

Just what I like to hear
