Reccomend me a dealer in Berks/Hants/Ox for new car

Featured Replies

Thinking of buying a new Octy Vrs TFSI estate , we already own a VRS TDI hatch which my wife uses for work but we need something a little bigger as my E class is getting on

My local dealer (which i am very happy with) is known for not giving decent discounts on new , as i will be selling my Merc privately i will be a cash buyer as well.

you could try ashmore green which is where i got mine from in newbury. Jewsons in Oxford didnt seem interested in my business and the one near witney thought i was a time waster. If you do use Newbury ask for tom and mention you know me (with the octy sport) he should remember me, for one reason i think i was the only one to order a sport via him!!

Ashmore Green IS my local dealer :):):)

Garlands in Aldershot were good when I bought mine.

Ashmore green ****ed me off on more than one occasion regarding servicing though, and IMHO ripped me off for my first service by the sum of at least 100 quid. They have tried to get me back again, but not a chance. Also every time they managed to f*ck up the height adjustment on the xenons so I could see about a foot in front of the car (well ok a bit more, but absolutely sh*te).

Jewsons was very helpful when I visited them, although I've used APS in Brackley, and now Ross is running, all future work will go to Unit 18 :) - I know you cant buy the car there though ;)

for service i would recommend (from what i read) Ross at unit 18

I'm happy with Ashmore Green for service , northants is just too far for me especailly for a brand new car

Deffo not Sparshatts.

I'd avoid Jewsons like the plague as well, they had an order didn't book a build slot and have changed delivery date twice and seem to come up with feeble excuses imho
