Just a Suggestion,

Have you looked at the similiar and cheaper CH range,

There is a member on here that regulary posts and has a luvly set of CH's on his Red octy 2

Damo's details here: http://briskoda.net/members/damo+%3A-)/

He has BBS COs fitted, which are pretty much the same, although the wheel boss and spoke design is slightly different. Also, doesn't have the 'Motorsport' text on them that the CHs do.

Steve

Are damo's 18" or 17"?

Are damo's 18" or 17"?

18's

The correct name for the Alloys are VZ033's though

Think they stopped making them now

Still available in Germany though.

VZ033 optically identical with the CH. Different manufacturing process and weighs more than the CH. Are delivered in 8.0 x 18 ET44. Fits on an octi without any changes to bodywork or else.

The CH is available in 8.0 x 18 ET50 and costs a lot more than the VZ033.

There is also a BBS wheel with the same design in 7.5 x 18 ET51 (exactly the same as the Zenith 18"). Came on the Golf as an option.

(I drive the same VZ033 but mine are ballpolished)

The VZ033 and CH are not the same in design. As you'll see from the images below, the spoke design is shorter on the CH (pictured right), and there is more space around the wheel bolts.

Compare the CH with my wheels and damos.

Your picture on the left is that a VZ033???

That is definately not a VZ033, dont remember what VZ it is, but not the VZ033.

Although the seller sells them as a VZ033. Maybe he just got a wrong picture.

I agree, the one on the left does'nt look like a VZ033

My alloys look just like the CH's on the right, but without the writing

Weird that - oh well!

Steve

They look more like the RX series.

There are a lot of BBS rims made for VAG (for example) with identical styles. Just named different (VZ0xx).

I had these VZ033 on my car awhile and thought they didn't suit it at all. I sold them on and reverted to the 18" Zeniths.
