Have been reading this great forum for a while now, but this is my 1st post. We received our Roomster Scout 1.9Tdi yesterday, and have to say, it really is a very nice car. There are a few things that I couldn't figure out though.

As it is mandatory here in Finland to have daylight running lights, is there a way to configure them so that they switch on automatically when the ignition is turned?

Is there a way to adjust the instrument lights, mainly I would like to dim the radio and A/C cluster lights.I did do a search, but couldn't find a solution to this.

Finally, does anyone have any experience from this bsr tuning device: Skoda Roomster 1.9TDI 105Hp 2007-2009 Stage 1 - Tuning kits

Don't think you can dim the dash lights.

If you look on page 44 of the owners manual, some countries has a day light running light switch in the fusebox panel, have a look there.

Some Roomsters have already daylight, maybe you can get it retrofitted at the dealer...

That fuse is for daylight...

Hmmm. Thats not there on the UK version

I did read about the switch by the fusebox, but in our version it was not either there. As I was fumbling after it in the dark, I accidentally pushed it loose from the panel. Now it's rattling somewhere in there,

Will have to loosen the fuse box and try getting it back in place.

I am increasingly annoyed with the color differences between the instrument cluster and the radio & A/c control panel. Wonder if anyone has tried to change the green color in these?

I've seen some examples, they have changed the small LEDS in it......

That red dash looks pretty cool. I wonder if there are leds in the other clusters as well?

Glad that dash lighting isn't standard. One of the big selling points was the restrained dash and I was delighted that it wasn't one of the garish displays that you see on some cars nowadays
