Perfect, Or should I say "Magic"

Thanks :)

Also the CR sounds like a petrol when idling it is that quiet.

Probably the safest way given that they may change the type of engine cover

CR has a high pressure pump at the front.

so no takatakataka then? (points to the one who can remember who coined that word....)

Unless i have gone deaf i couldn't hear it :D

No definitely not. Gone from a PD to a CR. The silence is great.

When a CR diesel is warmed up its as quiet as my old MKV Gti :-O

That looks like the easiest way to tell (no pump on the front of the PD engine).

Interesting to see that the Intake/Airbox is the same on the CR; useful for those that are thinking of modding. :D

.... but I like the growling of the PD engine when on full throttle :D :D ;) it gives the car some character.

Is there any difference to the Rev Counter? PD engine has red line @ 4,500rpm.

Nope its the same

Thought of an even better way !!

No need to open the bonnet or even start it up !!

correct me if I'm wrong please :o

For a manual hatch ONLY IIRC

Check The Tax Disc !!! CR is in the £120 band (08 year) rising to (£125 09)and the PD is higher band (£145 for 08 and £150 for 09)
