Any suggestions on how to access bulb in underside of door mirror (acrylic cover)....reacts to remote.

Although it is in German, you can still see how the mirror upperhalf is removed.

It is fairly easy, but has to be done with a bit of feel. Be carefull if it is too cold. Plastic breaks easy if too cold.

It's not a bulb - it's an LED and iirc, it's not an item you can replace like a bulb.

If it fails, you need a whole new side repeater unit for the mirror housing.

EDIT: Apologies - you didn't say it didn't work, just how to access it *gets coat*

The boardingspotlight is a bulb, the other one a LED.

Thanks for replies.Car is 1.4 Ambient........no LED`s that i can see,only amber bulb (indicator repeators).Slight damage to corner of acrylic cover has allowed water in....green discolouration.I wanted to see if acrylic was replaceable......obviously not from your replies.A spot of clear silicone sealant will have to do!
