0-100mph Fabia vRS times

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked before but I did a search and could not find it:

What is the 0-100mph time for a standard Fabia vRS?

I want to know what people have achieved rather than manufacturer's figures.

not sure ones ever gone that fast......

:D

I most certainly didn't in the lakes on sunday

TBH, diesels aren't about 0-60 or 0-100 times. It's all about in gear acceleration. 30-50 & 50-70 times are where the vRS will excel.

Having said that, I think people are finding the 0-60 time is actually a little quicker than the quoted 9.6 secs.

Ok then, I know I personally started a thread about actual BHP figures on vRS's so what have people found actualy 0-60 times to be as well as the 0-100 speeds (not wanting to steal the thread :P )

I'm aware that 0-100 doesn't best reflect the Fabia. However, for a diesel, it is still quite impressive.

0-60 is generally reckoned to be around 8.5s

the fabia gets to 100 too quickly for my liking!! lol :D but then so does 60!

Did Autocar mag not manage 0-60 in 8.2, and 0-100 in 24.4 or something along those lines?

And if Autocar's previous experience of Skoda cars is anything to go by....

I dont think this one was chipped though, because chipped cars do far better than what Autocar did in the Fabia.

Chipped is definitely quicker than that. Mine did 7.8 0-60.
