HELP! First Service

Featured Replies

My serivice indicator came on a few days ago and I booked it in for a service at my local dealer (Winchester Skoda and VW) the same day. It is costing me £244. My vRS is a shade over 40K miles. What can I expect? A few friend had there VW golfs done and said the service wasnt great. Anyone have some advice?

NB I have to have a main dealer service due to warrenty.

You dont by law actually. It just has to be a VAT registered garage that uses OEM parts.

And it needs to be carried out to Skodas recomendations.

Dont specifically have to be OEM parts either, just ones made in the EU.

as above really, though personally id stick to the dealer, the block exemption ruling is coming to an end next year i think, things are going back to how they were

Yup so I have heard also.
