Trying to pin down the source of a rattle is often tricky. One I found was the front passenger's seat belt anchorage tapping against the centre console. A waggle in the right direction fixed it.

The plastic cover over the 'C' pillar runner of one of my rear seat belts is also a source of plastic-n-metal rubbing.

Seems Fabia door speakers are indeed sh*te!

Had no problem with mine...

Dashboard creek in mine is minimal, the driver seat started creaking (poor chair carrying 200lbs), my passenger side mirror vibrates to music (it's hilarious to watch though)...my seat has lost its supportiveness, I'm getting it replaced...

Pretty much it.

Have any other Fabia owners been unhappy with their interior.

My 8 month old Fabia is suffering from numerous interior trim rattles' date=' vibrations and squeaks. to date I will list the problems.

1 Behind Dash Creak, still unresolved and getting worse as the weather warms up

2 Drivers door handle (with window switches) vibrates continuously

3 Passenger and Driver door panels vibrate when speakers used at almost any volume.

4 Trim around headlight switch vibrates at any speed

5 Rear Head rests, rattle and knock whatever I do with them

6 Clutch peddle rattles

7 Drivers seat creaks when going around bends ( am a light 130lb's so not sure why?)

8 Externally - knocking coming from front, thought wa suspension, but now am convinced it's the engine mount.

The problems especially with the interior ar so that I feel akward going to the dealer because it just sounds like i am really fussy, but having had a fabia prior to this, was was virtually silent on the move, i get the feeling that Fabia production is rushed more than it was, and the strikes at Skoda probably havent helped.

Anyone else having similar problems with 2002 + model year cars?

I' ve just bought a brand new fabia estate or Reflex (Dec 2005) and I am since troubled with a rattle coming either from the left rear door or the left back seat. It sounds as if the door isnt closed well and it rattles. Can you help? I don't yet face any of the other problems you mentioned. The dealer told me that he will replace - I dont Know the word in English- the lines of plastic around the door and that will solve it. If you have any ideas send an e-mail to [email protected]
