There is a few of us meeting at Scotch Corner services for 10:20 if you's want to meet us there mate?

Better for me to go straight up the A19 . Just hope the weather is ok .

you want to meet up smog monster i straight on A19 from my house

Hi all..

Just wondering if there are any places left, I could be tempted to tag along with a few other Teesside members. I'm unsure as to whether my VRS is standard or mapped so this would be a good way to find out, although I'm pretty sure it's tuned.

But yeah, let me know if places are available and I'll confirm attendance. :)

Meeting Arrangements

Meeting arrangements for Saturday are as follows:

Durham Motorway Service Area, meet at 09:45 to leave no later than 09:55 to head down to Scotch Corner.

Pavilion Scotch Corner Service Station, meet at 10:15 to leave no later then 10:25. Pull into services and go right down to the bottom of the larger car park.

Motoscope, meet up for 10:55 - 11:00 for RR day :D

Toddy, see you at 09:00 mate.

Any problems please let me know..

See you guys at Duram services!

From where I live, I will make my own way across to Northallerton. Croft on Sunday seems a good meet with 119 car entries. I will see you all on Saturday, I can't wait.

Dont know how I missed this mate, sorry.Yea, there are still places left. Just let me know if you want your name down mate :)

I was all good to go, until I realised my front tyres were bald and the bike was due an MOT. :( Will have to give this one a miss, but I'll be sure to tag along to the next rolling road day, hopefully after I've done a few more modifications.

Sorry to hear that Keith VRS , maybe next time . . . Make sure you can get along to the Chatsworth Rally Show in June , not an event to be missed

I will be looking to set off about 10.00-10.15 to get to Northallerton for 10.45ish , will be going up the A19

(thurlby if you wanna meet up PM me your mobile and i will text / ring u a point to meet up)

VRS back in garage washed clayed waxed and polished! Got kit from Halfords. Amazing results! :-)

Did you do your lights with it aswell

Naw, but it works well on the painted plastic bumpers. :-)

I've just got in from a good day at Croft and was out last night. Yesterday was good fun and was nice to see you lot. Like others have said on here, that Polo was mad, shame it blow a hose, I was also impressed by some of the Seats, also Todds Furby. I am now temped to make a big whole in my wallet instead of my Jeans and go back for a "Software Upgrade" by Superchips. I think the Hoff was impressed, he was only expecting 200 BHP and made 280

I might have the lowest power output in the group, but I was very pleased with the result. :D It is actually slightly wrong, Those figures for me were for the first runs, I fitted a K&N panel filter and got 143.3 BHP and 250 Torques. People have said to me that it may slightly improve when the ECU adapts to this new filter.

Thank you Damian/Damoegen so much for organising this trip and inviting us Briskoda members, also a big thank you to the people of Motorscope for letting us run.

:huep:

Was nice to see some new faces from this forum joining in on this RR day. Skodas are really moving on now and impressed me a lot. My little K1 just failed to top the bhp table (pesky Polo :D) but i lay claim to top torque of the day.

362.5bhp & 391.3lbft

Whens the next one

We aint put a date on it yet mate. But rest asure yous are all invited :D

By the way, I'd love a couple of photos of the Polo - any way of keeping in touch with the mad lad...?

By the way my max figure BHP was slightly less than the list, and the torque slightly more...

194.6 bhp and 303.3 lbft

Toddster.
