Hmmm, I mentioned something about dealer technicians in another thread recently.

Good call going to the indi

I only use dealers for parts now although our local has had the Skoda franchise revoked recently according to one of their parts guys due to customer complaints  so although they do parts at the moment that may change :(

Sorry to jack your post Ian but this liquid gauge, it's like a VAGCOM on the move right or more than that?

It does give you the ability to live scan for fault codes and clear them on the go. No replacement for VCDS but an excellant tool on the go. I got it for the gauges mainly but the car decided to play up shortly after so it has come in handy

Hows it running now Ian?

I got this fault code today. How much was the new MAF?

I've got some other bits to try first mind but just out of interest.

Cheers

Car is running fine and had no repeat of either the DTC or limp mode so fully cured
