Mobile Phone Screen Protectors

Featured Replies

Do they work?

Any recommendations for types or sellers?

There seem to be loads on Ebay - should I just go for it?

TIA

Andy

Dont think you need them these days... ive never bothered with any of my phones, and not managed to smash one yet :P

What sort of phone is it? If you have a PDA phone like the Tmobile MDA ones it is a good idea, not sure if you need them for the newest ones like HTC HD Touch or Touch Pro. I have got them in the past from expansys and PDAHut for my old MDA Vario.

I've got a Nokia N85 - its the one with the OLED screen

I got a whole body clear protector for my HTC Touch HD, not cheap and a ******* to fit, but worth it, means it doesnt have to be in a bulky case.

Get a decent case then, and dont keep in pockets with money or keys.

I think that they are worth it on PDA type phones or maybe with a crystal clear case protecting the body too.

I have had PDA phones for some years now and have never used one without a screen protector yet... takes the worry of scratching the screen away and for what they cost (or to say that I have usually got one included with the phone) it's definately worth it I think.

Got one on my G1 as it came with one... and its really good and doesn't change the feel of the screen at all (only relevant with touchscreen really).

Use one of my Nokia N96 as I can't be bothered with a case, bought about 6 in a pack off eBay for about £3
