I dont know if you can please help me?

I have a skoda felicia 1.3LXI

I have fitted a new ignition barrel and thats fine.

I booked it in with my local Skoda dealer for Monday morning to have the keys recoded.

The problem I have is that, my Skoda does not have anywhere to screw in the towing hook.

Are there any mobile key coders in the Preston area?

I would be so grateful for any help/suggestions.

the towing poin is behind one of the grilles bottom of the bumper, they normally have a reverse thread too so it will screw in anti-clockwise

Why not just take the chip out of the old key and fit it in the new?

I would have done that, but my son managed to mash it when trying to get the old key out of the old ignition.

Did you not have a spare key for the old barrel?

Unfortunately not.

When I bought the car it only came with one key.

Anybody on here who is local to you with VAG COM should be able to sort you out as long as you have the code that came with the car for the immobiliser.

iirc you dont need the immo code on those mark, off the top of my head i cant remember the procedure in vag-com to do the keys

Yeah you just erase learned values and it works.
