i need some alloy wheels to go on my fabia but i dont know which ones to have i quite like the look of the VW golf montreal 2 wheels, i guess these will fit,

the tyres that i would put on would be 195/50/16

does anyone have any other ideas for wheels? ideally i want them in an antracite grey colour because my car is candy white.

Would your speedo not be a fair bit out running that tyre profile?

the rolling radius is +14mm which equates to 2.39% bigger size, people recommend no more than +-2.5%. plus the speedo is always reading more than you are doing so i would be taking that margin of error out slightly.

Also makes me feel less bad about upgrading my OEM 14'' alloys on my 1.9TDi to 205/40/17 :cool:

How about a set of 16'' Octavia vRS Spiders? I'm sure Moatmeister had/has a set for sale...

looking to see if i can get suggestions on how to "activate" by retrofitted SLA headlights. essentially i'm getting an "cornering light (AFS)" error, meaning the high beam fancy masking/patterns (rollers) aren't working, let alone the shutters (HBA on/off). vcds autoscans show 2 faults in module 4B, saying the controllers are "Not coded". it looks like we need to upload (via ODIS/VCP) some parameters to the 4B module, telling it's now got SLA and how to use it. not sur

Hi guys new to the forum so hello I have a problem with my boot when I unlock the vehicle the boot will not unlock. but when I push the middle button ie boot unlock icon the boot will unlock. I have tested the switch and it is fine has anyone else had the same problem at all.... Regards Dan.

I just put a new Alternator clutch on my2.0tdi CFFB but the new belt is squealing. The tensioner was new a year ago, but doesnt seem to have the tension needed all the time. It can feel loose, or feel ok but starts squealing . When you move the tensioner bolt, it feels like it is catching and needs pushing back into position. Is something broken? Is there an easy fix or do I just put a new tensioner in? (I know how difficult it is to do)

Hello people, I got a 2011, VRS a few days ago. Primarily for a long trip. Seems decent so far, but I want to add power, music and just get things working. I have a few issues/questions.
