Possible Oil Leak

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just looking under the car the other day and noticed something that looks like a plastic hose/pipe jutting out from the engine bay cover. Noticed a few drops of fresh oil on the end. It's on the Drivers side just in front of the wheel. No idea what it can be but just wondered if anyone on here knows. Not a major leak but just want to know what it is. The car is a 2005 VRS.

Cheers

James

get some pics up mate, might help to diagnose

Yup, given it's a plumbers nightmare with hoses, it would be total guesswork on this,

I think we are looking at a turbo boost hose, but can't be sure from the picture, but if it is, small amount of oil weeping out is normal. You may want to search for 'PCV Elephant Hose' to find out how to stop the leak.
