Cheers!

I hunted down the fabia pics too and posted a corrected link. The one the search engine on here finds is out of date, it finds /fabia/ and not /fabia-i/ so returns not found.

So, do non-maxi roomsters just have a black plastic oblong blanking plate?

Looking at other maxi-dot implementations they seem to be able to do all sorts from auto closing the windows at the first sniff of rain, to changing the number of beeps it makes when you haven't got your seatbelt on. Is there anything else I can do with it?

As far as I can see it:

  • shows radio station id (and I believe id tag info from mp3s)
  • temperature
  • 2 x trip distance(s)
  • 2 x mpg(s)
  • miles left in tank

Anything else?

The reason why I was keen to nail down whether I had it or not was because skoda offer two Dension Gateway 100 products, one for Roomies with maxi and without.

You can't seem to buy direct from skoda accesories, do I have to contact a dealer - I'm guessing they won't sell you one with them fitting it but how hard could it be?

Had to go out and have a look! I assume you mean where the time is shown in the maxidot picture, if so, then the answer is no, its not blanked off, its where all the warning lights are when you switch on the ignition!
