Merritts Skoda of aylesbury will close the end of this month, they have sent out letters confirming this.

Such a shame. Camden Vauxhall next door to Merritts have closed shop earlier this month already... That's two brands gone.

Guess what, Pilling Skoda have lost their franchise, but will continue to service cars.

At least they sent out a letter. When Duttons closed last year in Maidstone, we got nothing till I complained to Skoda customer services.

Expect a short flurry of this kind of thing. Both bcause of the 'economic climate' and due to VAG actions.

Soon all we'll have left are those horrible 'chains' which have about 8 different franchises all on the same retail park (and sometimes under one roof!)
