vRS Owner

Featured Replies

recently bought a Y reg Corrad Red vRS, all I can say is what a machine. Had fun up against a BMW 535i who couldn't loose me over a 10 mile stretch of back B roads.

Makes a change from my first few Skodas when I was a poor student in the early 90's!

Welcome owlets. I'm pretty new here myself.

You made a good choice with your vRS. Had a bit of a do with an Audi S3 a couple of weeks ago and he was a bit peeved that he couldn't loose me.

They're ace - good choice of colour :D

And welcome

On a Y reg, I thought it would be Rally Red the same colour as mine. All early vRS's were this colour, Corrida red came much later.

Oh and welcome, as you can see mine is Red to.

I feel like the odd one out :o 'cos mine's black. I used to have a red 2.0 GLXi Octy, does that count for entry to the Red Club

Not so odd, mine's black as well.

Oh, and welcome :wavey: (from another newbie)

At least I'm not on my own any more :boing:

Y-Reg. Rally red. Sounds nice to me.

:)

Mine isn't a vRS nor is it red or black - but I would still like to welcome owlets to Briskoda.

One of the salesmen said it was Rally, but the manager said it was Corrada. Anyone with a definative?

TO be honest, I would have preferred a Black one, but this was a good deal

................my first Skoda was an Orange D Reg 120L................oh and thanks for all the welcomes

Red is good. Black looks best when freshly polished and brand new. However it looks dirty faster than just about any other colour and also every little mark, scrape swirl and chip shows up more on the black than any other colour. I own 2 black Octys and to be honest while they have attracted admiration, I would go for red now if buying again (or silver).

True that is the worst things about Black cars, I had to take my Octy back as the dealer didn't put a full MOT on it. There was 51 Black vRS on the forecourt, freshly polished so it look fine.

Anyone got tips for cleaning the alloys? Tried to get rid of most of the muck with a power wash but it didn't have the desired effect

Corrida red has only been around for a Year or so. Yours would be Rally red which is a bit lighter.

Welcome by the way
