finally getting around to saying hello and getting to grips with this site, bought my fabia back in early feb(red 05 vrs) wanted something sporty but also something that would be good on fuel, comfortable and cheapish to maintain and i could say i couldnt ask for better vehicle so well done skoda, its also my first diesel to previous cars i have owned are a subaru impreza, honda integra type r, kps13 nissan silvia and a k2 gsxr1000.

there are a few things i would like to ask you guys because i`d like to a few upgrades so any advice would be grand.

-firstly chipping(i know this question gets asked alot)but i want to get a decent chip with a decent torque curve not just a torque curve that kicks in a 2000rpm and kills the clutch so does any body know anyone that does this around oxfordshire and ids good? prices?

-secondly lowering springs, i see eibach offer a kit on ebay which lowers around 25mm, i intend to fit 17`s eventually so whats the best height to lower by without ruineing the ride or grounding in the wheel archs or floor?

thirdly-wheels where can i get some octavia white spider wheels from been looking about but cant find them??:confused:

any advice and suggestions would be great many thanks matt.

Got the car remaped last sat sure does make a differnce almost as quick as my old honda integra type r and the torque is massive the car could really benefit form a lsd. if anyone from around the oxfordshire area wants there car chipped then head down to oxford car audio in marston,oxford. £250 all in the guy that re-maps it actually rights and supplys the software for many tuning companys across england inc jabba sport so it aint no **** job!.just thought i would pass the info on
