I've just discovered a lever/switch in my vrs. In a pull down cubby hole where your right knee would be on the drivers side theres a pull out lever that says ON, does anyone have any idea what it is for.it probably tells me in the manual but my wife "filed" the manual away for safe keeping so only lord knows where it is!

It is to direct some of the air conditioning down to that particular draw/cubby hole.

For cooling a can drink when out in the car on a nice hot summers day

(not that we get any of these days in the UK)

I had my Fabia several months and didn't know of this until another owner pointed it out!

Yes that's correct it diverts airflow through to that storage space.

Be warned though that if you have the air set to warm or hot it will pump warm or hot air into that storgae space too..... There have been numerous exploding drinks cans reported in the past. :eek::eek::eek:

ah so only on a fabia, did wonder last summer when my can of drink never cooled in the octy in that one but did in the glove compartment.
