    SWMBO has found out and is very displeased. I told her it wasn't my fault, it was the nice man from briskoda, but she's having none of it. :(

Oggy - do you have ( or do you intend doing) any temperature measurements at the inlet and outlet of the intercooler when the engine is properly loaded up, to get an idea how well the core works?

how much could he knock them out for? maybe we could arrange for a few to be spread out across the regions?

Might be looking for one in the future also

I did some Vag-com logs on mine

Forgot to update this thread after I got the car on the rollers again.

Last time I went to JKM back in February, the car made 190.1bhp. Since then I added the DIY FMIC and also a Blumeflame catback exhaust. Wasn't expecting a massive increase, maybe a couple of ponies at most.

After putting it on the rollers again I can confirm that there has been an increase in power, but only a very small one.

The car now has 190.6bhp so that's 1/2 a bhp more :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

On the upside though, the graph is better than last time, power and torque are coming in sooner and holding better which confims why it feels like its pulling more. Suppose the real advatage will come when I get the thing remapped :thumbup:

Hi, All but finished the install of my Ebay FMIC, Map sensor tube is yet to arrive (as a certain postman didnt bother to post it next door as the huge note on the door requested) any way, just a quickee. Can the map sensor tube be cut down to about 8 inch? Im going to use a normal peice of pipe in its place so i can get the others measured, then Ill take it all to work on monday where there is a beading tool, and then place the map sensor in on monday night. Just want to check it can be cut like the other peiices.

Then on monday i can start her up and see how it goes...This thread has really helped me, and i think the map sensor has been trimmed on this one but im just checking as its hard to tell how loong it is from the forge site

Thanks

Matt

Yes cutting it down is no problem at all. Make it four inch long if you want, as long as you can get the sensor into the flange bit your sorted.

P.s I told you it was a lot easier than it looks didn't I. :)
