Comment from a Focus driver...

Featured Replies

Was in good old maccy d's yesterday as I thought id try there cream egg mc flurry. Parked up in the car park munching away minding my own when a chaved up focus pulled up beside me laughing. He kept looking over and so on so I wound down the window and asked if I was missing something (thinking someone may have put something on me car or what not). He goes 'Is that a diesel mate?' I said 'Surely you can hear that for yourself!' He then said 'Bit gay you putting a VRS badge on that!' and then drove off.

I was actually speechless, didn't know whether to laugh cry or what! So I think due to owning a Diesel fabia I better take the badge off, I mean seriously who was I trying to fool!!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Note: Forgot to mention engine was running!

Haha what a fool.

Some people really skipped the brains queue then they were born

Thats a classic mate! He will be a regular (putting his £5 in for the night) so pop back up in the hopes you catch him on the way out and can show him how you diesel (which obv means its not a vRS!) drives :D

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hahaha you do get some idiots clearly didnt realise they only come in diesel, and i hope you catch him on the way home too :)

I wouldnt know what to say to the kid he seemed so proud of himself! Will certainly look out for him though! Maybe get my video camera rolling and record a live interview

Ha Ha, classic one like!

Coming from a ex focus driver even I knew the vRS came as a diesel well before I considered one!

I always get that from my neighbours who think my vRS is a cracking car and they ask what sort of engine is under it I reply diesel and it's like "really" I would have thought a petrol.

lol.. a definition of "ignorant" ....

LMFAO what a tool

There's quite a few like him, no doubt. Which is amusing. Makes the Skoda ownership all the more fulfilling in my view ;)

Most who manage to know what a Skoda is, and what a vRS apparently is think Octavia Mk1 vRS 1.8T petrol, I think :)

i bet there is a similar thread on some 'hot focus' forum where the geezer has said "oh guess what, whilst eating me chicken nuggets some n*b in a fabia diesel has stuck a vrs badge on there!"

What do you expect from someone who eats at McDonalds.......

I got one at work last week telling me there was "an aweful chav'ed up Skoda with a bodykit" in the car park. when i couldnt see it they said "its that black one with the big alloys and the Porsche badge on the back!"

Laugh! I almost wet myself!

Mmmm, and you could have said ' and what's wrong with being a bit gay?....'

If that was in the McD car park at Briz that is to be expected :)

I get the same, except when people say "That's a nice looking car, what engine has it got? 1.8T?", when you reply with "No, a 1.9 Diesel" they just say "Oh" and have this look on their face of 'I feel sorry for you'

Skoda are gay for putting a vRS badge on a diesel...
