I like this a lot:

And on a similar note, this HSV Commodore belongs to the library teacher at SWMBO's school (she's in her late 50's!)

Shame about the colour, but you have to respect her, driving a 400bhp 6.0 V8!!

And parking it in one of the roughest areas in Wellington every day, just around the corner from the local gang house!!

Yes they are brave.

This is what the big corps should be doing. Exciting cars. Sexy cars. Not mass produced tat.

2 sweet buses

So whats thedifference between the Sennator and the Commode? longer wheelbase?

I do like the commode though. It's the only Vauxhall I'd ever consider buying.

I think so yes. There's a Statesman as well which I assume is longer still.

And of course the Monaro coupe and the HSV V8 Ute

I'd have one of them yellowy/green things without too much persuasion, but the black one is a bit gangsta for me.

The green one (Commodore?) is the same as the vauxhall VXR8 available over here isn't it?

Yup.

I saw one of those red things in Cardiff a couple of months ago - it looks monstrously big!

They don't look that big to me now - we get American crap like Ford Tauruses and all sorts.

I saw a Dodge RAM 1500 this morning . It dwarfed the Lotus Elise it was following!!

Sounded wonderful - 5.7 Hemi!

Over here the green one is the Holden HSV R8

I loving the Senator....out of curiousity, wonder how much it would cost to get one over here and run? Time to talk to the Banks....and Shell.......

I want the Ute version of the clubsport

That is... truly disgusting :D

...but possibly the quickest way of delivering a cement mixer or bricks. :)

Holy F*ck!

You could get a brand new Saleen or Roush imported from the US for less...

Not cheap your HSV's

Pricelist

Actually you can probably take 12.5% GST off that, which makes a fair difference.

I want the Ute version of the clubsport

Now that looks tasty.

Saw loads of these in OZ. Very sexy... with a price tag to match!

Sven's step sister loved to tease and play with them in her Holden Commodore 3.8l V6... until they actually got their foot down and we might as well have been stationary!
