next mod was a new interior out of the suzuki swift sport, which was way harder to fit than we first thought requiring some custom fabrication work to fit the lower part of the rear bench, and requiring the sport brackets welding in to fit the rear back rests

then we had spax come on site and ask us what we wanted out of a set of coilovers,so naturally i offered our car as the ginue pig,i have to say i am to this point a huge fan of these now, they are supremly comfortable on a soft damping session and when you turn them up to a more track focused setting they make the car handle like its on rails!!!

and our newest mod is another set of wheels, say hello to the buddy club's

buddy club wheels

P1070452.jpg

P1070454.jpg

so oz or buddy clubs, what you guys think?

Buddy clubs for me gary.

OZ's definitely, look 10 times better than the buddy clubs IMO

Nice car btw

Damo

The porker rims still suited that car the best... ;)

  • Author

Think the decision has been made on wheels now, not the final one by any means but we have had an offer on the buddyclubs so they are going, the cash will be used to fund some 16" bbs rs splits, tho these may too be sold as Emma has been scouring the image wheels website and has marked a few sets on there as "of intrest", tho personally I would prefere to re furb the work splits I have my eye on going cheap and use the bbs on the golf!!!!

Cheers for the positive comments guys, about the only thing this car is missing is some power!!!! Tho the turbo converted ones are pushing 200bhp on standard internals so it's something I am looking into :D

I prefer the OZ's, looked so good.

Nice looking car Gary, and welcome back mate :)

  • Author

I've never left Len!!!!!!!

Just been on a lot less over the last 12 months, new job and all that has kind of limited my Internet time!!!!!

always had a soft spot for suzukis are owning a ignis sport for 7months, hell of a fun car to drive if you get past its looks, 1.5 with 107bhp standard, and nice looking swift
