Biker and Skoda driver, anymore out there?

Featured Replies

Hi, just took delivery this morning of my brand spanking Octavia VRS TDI Ltd Edition Estate. And I love it (No. 164 out of the 500 run). Anyone looking for a 2000 Octavia TDI Elegance in Silver and mint condition, low mileage, it is now for sale. Also got a very tidy Favia Comfort 1.4Mpi for her in-doors, no badge snobery in this house !!!

Someone commented the other day that as a biker I shouldn't be driving a Skoda, now Volvo yes I could possibly agree, but are Skoda drivers alien to to those who like me ride bikes ?

So it got me to thinking how many other bikers out there have a Skoda as their four wheel fix ?

Hi Claytow

No you are not the only one, I have a 1300cc Pan

Radiotwo

That will be me then!

Actually I am a motorcycle mechanic, been in the trade over 30 years and obviously I have owned my fair share of bikes in that time.

However,my poor old back/wrists/etc mean sports bikes are no longer an option for long rides so I get my pleasure at the moment from a 650 Burgman.

Oh,and welcome!

He He! Well I am a bike rider too.My last 2 bikes were a Bandit 1200 followed by a Ducati ST4.The scoot will give me a bit of a rest, not just from my aches and pains, but from the temptation to do 'stupid' speeds etc etc.

Oh,and I know mdk1 from a scooter site I help run.Top bloke!

Welcome and i'm a bike rider too,i've got a yz426 supermoto

Welcome . I've a CCM R30 644 supermoto. I'm near Huddersfield.

Hope you get some photos up of your car only seen one shot of the ltd edition.

Regards Chris:)

Hi mate i run a mk1 octy vrs and a ZX12R just for fun :thumbup:

Hi - I used to have a Honda C90, now have bikes of the unpowered variety

Octy Vrs Tdi Estate, CD200 Honda for work, fuel injected 1983 GPZ1100 for a proper chill out !!!

I'm in Leeds and have a black magic Fabia VRS and a 1999 tornado red Triumph Daytona 955i.

A fine piece of British engineering and I can't imagine ever selling it. The 955cc triple engine is IMO one of the best sounding bike engines. I have the Triumph carbon race pipe on it and it sounds awesome...

Loving my Skoda though, like to have something a bit different to everyone else just like the bike.
